New Zealand Cricket ODI – Kids Zone

New Zealand Cricket wanted to create a family-friendly Kids Zone for the 2016 ODI season matches where no sponsor driven activations were planned. The brief was to create an area that could cater for all ages, which was engaging and able to handle a large through-put of children. To create a family vibe, through our supplier relationships, we sourced a beautifully themed activity ride which we were able to customise and create a real ‘Kiwiana’ backyard look and feel. This new ride, together with another of our interactive sport themed inflatable games and other assets like beanbags, kids size picnic tables, umbrellas, picket fencing, created an exciting and interactive area for kids and parents to enjoy. We successfully activated at seven ODI’s from Hadley Park in the South to Eden Park in the North. The activations made a positive contribution to each match and given the sucess we were engaged again for the 2016-17- season which was expanded to ten activations at all but one ODI fixture.
