As the principal sponsor of the World Masters Games, Barfoot & Thompson were looking to leverage their sponsorship and create a focal area where families could relax and be part of the vibe of the WMG HQ, located at Auckland’s Waterfront. As a family oriented business, Barfoot & Thompson were keen to make this area very family friendly so we were engaged to add a ‘fun’ element with a couple of our large highly themed inflatable rides. Due to the nature of the Auckland waterfront location, concrete surface and high wind-zone, we provided a complete bespoke hold-down system and full safety matting to keep the kids safe while entering and exiting the rides and darting between them. We also provided a full Risk assessment and site specific safety plan, event staff and overall management of the FunZone. The weather really played ball and the event was a great success, attracting good crowds each day of the activation.
