DHL Express New Zealand were looking for a unique way to connect their Lions Series partner sponsorship with the fans and create a standout activation to firmly cement their position as the major series sponsor in both the Auckland and Wellington Fanzones. Through our contacts at NZ Rugby we were invited to present the idea of a trophy experience all housed under two stunning Geodesic domes. We produced two new Geodomes and a modular trophy display system, which enabled the complete system to be easily redeployed between Auckland and Wellington. We also activated our Rugby GameZone inflatables for Auckland City Council, which enhanced the overall offering for DHL and the fan experience as a whole. We estimate over seventy-five thousand people visited the DHL Domes between the two cities. Ideaology handled the complete activation in both cities, from production, logistics, deployment, Council compliance, health and safety and risk management, to staffing and the daily operation of the DHL Domes.
